Now that Christmas is over, it's time to do a project for me.

But first, I wanted to share some of my finished projects from Christmas time.

Here's the beehive window. It was scary to ship from Washington to Virginia. I think I almost had a heart attack waiting to see if it arrived safely. It did and they loved it. I was so relieved, I felt like I got a Christmas present. Thank you UPS for delivering it safe and sound.

Bee Hive Stained Glass Window

If you like this stained glass pattern and want to make your own, I have it here

The other was the mermaid applique. In the previous blog, I only had the pattern and was just about to start the applique. Here's the finished product. She turned out just as I visualized. And I must say, it was much easier to ship. Whew!

Here's the Mermaid applique pattern.

Now, on to a project for me (finally).

It's a pattern I made last year but just now have had time to create it.

Winter Bridge Applique Pattern Example

I truly love this pattern. It has called to me since I made it and I'm very excited to start it. I have the pattern in stained glass and applique but I decided to use fabric.

It's a work in progress. I have all the pieces fused on. Now to start sewing. It's amazing how just adding thread and some batting will change the look so dramatically. I can't wait to show you the outcome.

I hope I give you some inspiration to have some fun in this cold winter season.

Stay warm.
