The Corgi has royal blood and only the trustworthy fairy may ride them. You can only see them out of the corner of your eye but I have caught one here for you.
If you don't want the fairy simply don't add those pieces and the corgi will look fine without her.
Applique Size: 20" x 25" (without the border)
The dashed lines on the dog’s nose and fairy’s face are embroidery lines. Do Not Cut Out!
After you cut apart your pattern set the pieces aside. You won’t need them.
There will also be two layers on the dog’s eyes for detail. Cut one large black piece around the eyes. Then add the amber color piece on top.
Make all of the fairy facial features with embroidery instead of cutting out fabric.
Cut your background black fabric to approx. 21”x 26” first. This is the fabric you will put all of the other pieces on top of. Then cut and place the Corgi and fairy on top of the background fabric. Last, add the amber eyes on top of the black which is on top of the background. (there will be three layers here)
Once your applique pieces are fused to the background, stitch with a straight stitch around each piece with matching thread. Add the fairy facial embroidery lines now or during quilting.
Trim to square. Then add a 2” border.
Last add batting and backing and quilt as desired.
